From August 8 - 17, the East Bavarian Equestrian Center in Kreuth will open its doors for the 35th FEQHA European Championship of American Quarter Horses.

As in previous years, the go-rounds for the performance classes will be held once

again as a 4-fold AQHA show. The Halter classes will take place on the first weekend without finals, as well as the Green and Novice classes as a double show. ThePerformance Finals will start on Thursday 14th. There will be further highlights on the second show weekend with the Kumlegaard Young Horse Cup, the Pleasure Versatility Challenge and the NSBA Germany Futurity. Of course, a lead line for young riders will not be missing.

A group of sponsors made it possible to continue the pleasure celebration with 5000Euro prize money. FEQHA goes along and sponsors as part of the 35th anniversary of the ECQH the trail celebration with another 5000 Euro. The celebration is limited to 4and 5 year old horses.

The Ranch Riding Challenge, which was offered for the first time last year, was very well attended and will therefore be offered again. As the ranch classes are generally very popular, additional ranch classes for Amateurs and Professionals have been added to the program and will be supported by the International Ranch Horse Association (IRHA) with prize money of 3,000 dollars.

For the Hunter riders, there will be an English Versatility for the first time. The

Munich-based Reim family will sponsor the winners with 1000 euros. This new

discipline is designed to make the AQHA Hunter Division more attractive.

This year's experienced judges are Sandy Curl (Florida), Jim Edwards (California),

Alexandra Jagfeld (Germany) and Rick Lemay (Spain).

All information is available on the official website ecqh.eu, on FEQHA Facebook and the WhatsApp channel.

AQHA will be present

AQHA will be with official representatives at the EC and in-person on-site from

August 14th to 17th with an AQHA booth to assist AQHA members with

paperwork as transfer reports and so on.
